Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites in 2020 (No.7 [2021] of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education)，and the Public Finance major of the School of Public Finance and Taxation has been successfully selected into the National First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites. This is a significant landmark achievement in the first-class major construction of the college. Heretofore, both public finance and taxation majors of the college have been selected as the national first-class undergraduate majors.
The School of Public Finance and Taxation has thoroughly implemented the requirements of a series of documents as “the Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Accelerating the Construction of High-Level Undergraduate Education and on Comprehensively Improving the Ability of Talent Cultivation”. On the basis of these requirements, the school has several focuses: building Construction of First-class Majors and cultivating first-rate talents, continuing to deepen education and teaching reforms and professional integration Reform, putting forth the efforts to promote the comprehensive reform of majors, continuously strengthening the construction of teaching staff and grassroots teaching organizations, and optimizing the training mechanism of top-notch innovative talents in public finance. The school has achieved fruitful results in the construction of golden courses, the construction of "Curriculum Ideological and Politics", educational and teaching reform projects, and the quality of talent training.
